Land Of The South

Found this lovely print of an historic map, all for the bargain price of £2.50 (US$3.10, AU$4.80 or thereabouts) in a local charity shop. How could I resist LOL?

Just need to find a suitable frame and somewhere to display...

Don't Call Her Nelly

Have been really enjoying this lighthearted fantasy drama, from the pen of the excellent Sally Wainwright, with my son. All eight episodes may be streamed from the House of Mouse. Well worth a watch.

Noteworthy

Today His Majesty King Charles III met with the governor of the Bank of England, Andrew Bailey, to received the first polymer Notes to bare his image. The meeting had been postponed due to His Majesty's on-going health treatment, for which he is said to have apologised. Bless. The King has surprised and impressed many how he has conducted himself since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, bringing a much warmer and accessible feel to the monarchy.

Monkey Business

Pinched from elsewhere. I loved the original films, almost as much as the new relaunched franchise.

Downies

Those lovely people at Downies Collectables have sent me this rather nice Aussie coin presentation, produced by the Royal Australia Mint. It's two $1 coins, as you can see, containing the final dollar for Her Majesty the Queen and the first of her son King Charles.
